TCM - A Short Introduction to the World of Traditional Chinese Medicine

"Health is like a garden, you must learn to cultivate it skillfully"
(old Chinese saying)

Every day millions of people use Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). It is known all over the world for its holistic approach to treatment, excellent effects and lack of side effects. TCM includes: Chinese herbal medicine, acupuncture, acupressure, Tui Na massage and Qi Gong healing exercises, and even meditation. This medicine with over 3000 years of tradition developed successively by many generations of doctors, is an excellent way to a better, healthier and longer life.

Chinese herbal medicine (zhong yao)  is traditional Chinese herbal medicine, developed over several thousand years. It uses many herbs in its practice in the form of decoctions, ready-made tablets, plasters, ointments, etc.
It is extremely effective in treating chronic diseases that are often considered incurable from the perspective of Western medicine, such as diabetes or Lyme disease. Chinese herbal medicine is natural and safe, and most importantly, free of side effects.

In China, herbs are used in every hospital to treat many difficult ailments and diseases. Their effects are often spectacular and bring relief to the sick even when our medicine gives no hope for improving the health condition.

Acupuncture/acupressure (zhen ju)  is a healing art that uses thin needles to regulate the flow of blood and energy in our body in an attempt to achieve balance.
It is the energy imbalances in our body that lead to various diseases and ailments. In practice, moxa (special herbal cigars) are also used to heat acupuncture points, regulating the flow of energy and blood.

Anyone can use acupressure instead of acupuncture. The principles are exactly the same, but instead of needles, finger stimulation is used.

Acupuncture/Acupressure has proven positive effects in treating many ailments. It has been recognized by the WHO ( World Health Organization)  as an effective method of treating pain and many neurological disorders and more.

Tui Na massage  is another branch of TCM. This unique massage uses various techniques to eliminate a health problem.
Tui Na uses manual therapy techniques, an extremely effective method of regulating discopathy and other bone and joint problems.

This type of massage with over 3000 years of tradition is the oldest form of treatment known to humanity. Experience gathered by many generations of Chinese doctors has proven its incredible effectiveness in treating spine problems and many other disorders of the musculoskeletal system. Tui Na is diametrically different from our classic massage and compared to ours is a much more effective method, as proven by centuries of practice and experience.
